Turkey has high tourism mobility between April – October. However, regions like Istanbul and Cappadocia offer their visitors a different kind of beauty every month. low season, prices are lower as well when compared to the peak seasons. (High Season April-Oct, Low Season Nov-March, High season during Bayram/Eid, Christmas and New Year)

Turkey is on GMT + 3. This means generally that Turkey is 1 hour ahead of European and 2 hours ahead of the UK standard times. Turkey is 2 hours behind Pakistan. Still it is a good idea to check the local time when you arrive in Turkey and adjust your watch accordingly.

English is not as widely spoken in Turkey. In the major cities such as Istanbul and Izmir there are more English speakers, however in many situations you will not find someone around who speaks English. This where we step in, our guides are multilingual and all our tours are carried out in English, or requested otherwise. Signs in English follow a similar pattern - plenty in the big cities, rather less in smaller towns and rural areas. All the metro stations are signposted in English, including the whole rail and subway network in Istanbul.

Azad accepts VISA and MasterCard credit cards. Should you wish to pay by other methods, such as Wire /Bank Transfer, please contact us at info@azadtours.com prior to booking.

All prices are in Euro. However it is possible to be charged in other currencies. The currency converter on our website is only a reference and uses the exchange rate on the day you use it. Prices in currencies may vary from day to day due to exchange rate fluctuation.

Can you issue Air Tickets with us?

We are authorized agents of domestic airlines; Pegasus, Onur Air and Atlas Jet. We can only provide air tickets for these airlines.

Can I use my Credit Card in Turkey?

Credit cards are accepted in most shops and restaurants in the main Cities or Resort areas. This may not be the case in smaller towns or remote places so it is generally a good idea to try always to have some cash handy.

In the metropolises, especially in Istanbul, driving a car is very troubled. So, we don’t advise you to drive a car. Generally, roads between cities are more comfortable when compared to urban roads. Unfortunately, when we consider the high rate and density of road traffic accidents, Turkey is not a recommended country for renting or driving cars.

Any disability requiring special attention should be reported at the time the reservation is made. Azad will make reasonable attempts to accommodate the special needs of such travellers, but is not responsible for any denial of services by carriers, hotels, and other independent suppliers. Azad regrets that it cannot provide individual assistance to a tour member for walking, dining, getting on and off motor coaches, ships and other transportation vehicles, or other personal needs. A qualified companion must accompany travellers who need such assistance.

No, Azad does not offer travel insurance. We recommend that all clients take out comprehensive travel insurance.

No refund for unutilized services or hotel bookings including those resulting from delayed check-in or early check -out. No refund if the client fails to avail a transfer or tour service incase the transfer or tour car or guide is late, or cannot reach the client due to the unavailability of the client. All vouchers and invoices have contact numbers of the Azad personnel. It is upon the client to contact Azad incase the service is not available as stipulated in the voucher. No refund for confirmed booking. No refund for No Show. For cancellations received 7 calendar days before the scheduled departure, Azad travel consultant with correspond the refund, if any, that can be acquired from third party suppliers (hotels, air tickets, etc). For cancellations received within 7 calendar days before the scheduled departure date a 100% cancellation fee will be charged.
